I had gone to to store early one morning (with the rest of the old folks) to pick up a fey thing we were out of or running low on.
I always take a look in the meat dept. and a special cooler they always have overstocked and marked down meat in. This was the last day
of sell by so they marked it half price. I picked op two CAB Strips and Two Porterhouse steaks.

I froze the Porterhouse steaks and decided to go with the Strips for supper.
My Wife made us a salad and Baked Potato. Salad was Slaw mix with olive oil roasted red pepper dressing (Kraft) she threw in
a few craisins and tortilla strips.
I sprinkled both sides of the steaks with my Steak Rub and lit them sit for a bit.

Thanks for Looking

Good looking steaks! My wife and I eat more strips than any other steak. Great looking roses too!

Looks delicious! I prefer strips, Wife only eats filet or tenderloin. So when we have steak, it's 2 different cook times, her filets are usually much thicker than my strips, and 2 different flavor profiles.
Lately I have been getting Prime strips at Sam's cheaper than choice at the Grocery store. The prime is soooo much better than the choice.

Looks like your steak is cooked to perfection Gary, and at a great price, within view of those beautiful roses. What's not to like? Like! RAY

Great meal for a good price . Nice job .

That is a great idea with the craisins and tortilla strips .

Me too . I also note the sell by date on stuff they just put out , then come back for a look on that date .
Well , I used to anyway .

Thanks Guys, those of you who know me, know I'm a Ribeye fan But you just can't pass up 1/2 price
