Well gary s gary s beat me to posting this dinner, he did have somewhat similar sides. Wasn't gonna post it but I decided what the heck....so here goes.

Nothing real fancy just strip steaks dry brined in the foodsaver with McCormick Sweet and Smoky Rub

Onto the grill a few hours later. Sorry no grill pics, I know I am slipping :emoji_disappointed:

Here is my steak plated with twice baked potato with cheese and chives, and corn with chili seasoning on it.

Here is the money shot.

Steak just like I like it medium rare to medium, and I had to use spicy brown for dipping as we are all out of A1 and Coleman's English Mustard which are my go to's.

All in all it was pretty tasty. The twice baked potatoes are really good, this is the second time we have done them so some of you may recognize them.

If you want the recipe just PM me.

Beautiful piece of work John, I'd be thrilled to be sitting down to that plate, LIKE! Jan just brought up making twice baked taters last night, I told her next time I'm having a steak. Won't be long! RAY

Steaks perfect John!! However you grilled it the stuff is perfect. Seeing a lot of corn on posts today reminded me of a post in a Facebook group I saw yesterday. If I was eating corn I’d have to try it. Was smoked jalapeño creamed corn.

Very nice AZ!! I'd certainly enjoy a plate or three of that!! Steak looks beautiful but really? A-1 on a steak like that? Sacrilege!! Maybe a little salt, but no sauce. Overall though, a really nice meal for sure!!

Nice Steak dinner John! I like A1, haven't had it in awhile, but I'm not opposed to it. I like the taste and could probably drink it straight from the bottle.

Absolutely I agree John. Just intended to be a bit of fun ribbing. It's your steak, you cooked it, certainly you can eat it as you like. At least you weren't using ketchup :emoji_laughing: When I used to go to steak houses on occasion I used A-1 on the steaks also. Hope not to have offended as it certainly wasn't my intention

Nice meal John . I just bought a whole strip loin at GFS , and had some steaks out of it the other night . You cooked that steak perfect .
I reduce down unsalted beef stock , red wine and garlic until it's a thick sauce . You can add what ever flavors you like , but makes a great sauce to dip .
Nice work bud .

Thanks for the like Ray! It was really good as I have not had a steak in quite awhile.
