I’ve had this cabinet for several years. It’s 4’ wide 4’ tall and 2’ deep. Heavy plate construction. I want to build it into a smoker. I’m looking for ideas on whether it would be better to have an external or internal firebox. 2 or 3 racks would be plenty for any cooks I imagine doing, so there is room for the firebox in a bottom corner. I’m thinking of making a charcoal tray to slide in when I’m grilling steaks etc. I look forward to your ideas and wisdom for this project. Thanks in advance.
