Status of the OTBS

We are hoping to relaunch the OTBS next week with a number of new OTBS Members. I have updated the OTBS Roster (hopefully it is correct). With able assistance from OTBS Brothers erain and Pineywoods we have managed to reconstruct the Squires List. It is currently posted in the Moderators Forum for the other Moderatiors and Admin folks to look at and make sure that we haven't forgot anyone.

Still working out the Nomination Process; before the crash each nominee had their own post. Not sure if we'll be using the same format or if we will go a general nomination thread and once that thread reaches XX number of pages it will be closed and a new nomination thread opened. Once I have posted the initial nomination thread the OTBS will be open for business. Remember that I have put in place a new active member time criteria-it has gone from 6 months to 9 months.

Your timing is impeccable the person that I was going to nominate when the three month rule came into effect just lost out by a day. Then 3 months passed and you made it 6 months, those 6 months are just now up and it is now 9 months...... I keep following that carrot on the string. never getting nearer, never getting farther.....

I promise I won't be changing the time criteria on ya any more, it will be staying at 9 months.

same here, not to take anything away from anyone previously nommed and inducted into OTBS. i think it will allow for a better knowledge base to be accumulated by said person, allow person to become active in forum, allow the newness of the hobby to wear off and see if they will really be sticking around or not. let us see who will step up and become newfound
gurus and and in same token recognize the people who have put there time in and contributed and not yet been rewarded for there efforts.

Besides, if it was really easy to get the title, it would be pretty much meaningless.

I know that I am REALLY new to this forum and so far have been astounded by the people and topics covered here. Well done one and all!

I have a question, tho. Once I have spent my time, paid my dues, and burnt enough meat

, and you all deem me(Hopefully) worthy enough to be a member of this group, It would be pretty awesome to add a patch or logo to my riding leathers. I ride with a christian motorcycle ministry here and everyone has their own unique patches they put on their leathers. It would take quite awhile for them to figure out what OTBS stands for, heheheh. Has anyone thought of having a patch or soomething produced?

I do understand your dilemma; SMF OTBS thongs while wearing your leathers could be a site !!!
