Dont know anything about that unit but the price point would be hard to beat!

Don't know anything about the unit but the picture on the front of the box is completely incorrect for Sous Vide.
Regardless, hard to go wrong at $35 and I've had good luck with most of my Aldi purchases. I would just validate the temperature accuracy with a separate probe and start down your sous vide path.
