Today I got two calls (voice mail) from a Veronica Connors.
Said she was with a tax debt relief company.
Then proceeded to say that I should call the 888 number she provided to discuss the back taxes I owe the IRS.
I just laughed.

Pretty slick how it went straight to Voicemail with no number. Can't block it that way. Haha

I understand that a lot of them get pretty belligerent and demand you pay.

Be wary...

I usually ask for THEIR cell number and then hear a click . But I'll definitely be using your pickup line!

I've taken calls in the past.
I inform them the call is recorded for my protection and their prosecution. That get a pretty fast click.

Hi you owe taxes from your call. Tuesday I received 2 calls with in 5 minutes and they also went right to voice mail.

So it was safe to listen to those.
They said for me to call the number back as there are unclaimed taxes that I can collect, Ha that would never happen . Especially up in this taxless country.

Unless some one comes to the door and passes me a big bag of money , I don't believe it .

I ignore them for the most part, but occasionally I entertain myself and answer. I have a few different angles, but if they make the mistake of asking me how I'm doing I tell them it's a good thing they called because I was just about to do myself in.
