Was watching Andrew Zimmer this morning and it's all Hawaii. So out to the pantry I went.

Nothing fancy, nothing smoked just good ol Fried Spam and chive scrambled eggs.

Nothing but classic. Drizzle of syrup on that would be grannies weekend special. She made a spam casserole that was to die for. Ate alot of it growing up since it was affordable and so versatile. Also makes great catfish bait.lol.

Looks great. I usually chop it up and cook in in my scrambled eggs or slice it and fry it with a slice of cheese on it. I ate that and S.O.S. a lot as a kid, and my kids still do from time to time. Only  thing missing is some spam gravy and the biscuits to eat it with.

 I never thought of that! I bet it does a great job. And if they ain't bitin', you got Lunch on the bank!

SPAM is a regular item in this house. Been eating it 50 years and Dad longer than that! Hot, Cold on a Spamich, in stuff, on stuff and am crazy about...MUSUBI.  I got to say as a Kid, the Jelly used to freak me out. There is no where near as much any more, the meat is packed more full than it was years ago...JJ

Go to bait here on the Delaware River. Stays on the hook a long time and leaves a strong scent trail. And yes none of the bait goes to waste.
