How long, per pound, could I estimate for smoking pork loin (not tenderloin)?

I would plan on running the Traeger about 250-275*.

Plan for about 3 hours total smoke time to reach 145f. At that temp it will still have a pink blush to it. Take it to 155f if want well done. (Not recommended) They don't vary by thickness that much, but by length. People get stuck on time, the important thing is temp.

Thank you. I was thinking around 2.5 hours so good to know.

The loin is a hair over 2lbs.

Last one I did went way faster than I expected, so keep an eye on it .

Yesterday about that size 2.5 hours probed 150 and was moist and tastey

Update - pork loin turned out really good.

It was a little over 2lbs. I used Meat Church The Gospel AP run. The weather was crappy today, so I ended up just running the Weber gas grill. Ran around 260*-270* the majority of the cook. I did crank it up about the last 15 minutes to speed things up.

Took right at about 2 hours to get to an IT of 145*.

Juicy and good flavor. I think I could have let it rest a bit longer.

How long do you suggest pork loin rest?

Your pork loin looks excellent. I would let it rest about 10 min. anymore and it will start cooling off to much.

Point for sure.
