I came across this recipe when i was in Honduras, where the lady boiled her ribs in Ginger beer then baked them in the oven with a chipotle seasoning. I was wondering if anyone had any advice how to utilize the smoker in this recipe by using the ginger beer and chipotle seasoning?

Welcome sairha!!

Good to have you join us.

Maybe by making a basting or mopping sauce out of the Ginger Beer & Chipotle Seasoning, but I doubt you'll find anyone on this forum who would boil Ribs in anything.

Just my 2 Piasters,

Yup---I used to follow the directions that came with my Showtime Rotisserie, and boiled my ribs before putting them in the Showtime. They used to come out pretty good that way, but that was before I had a smoker.

I know "Boiling Ribs" is like a swear word to the smoking world.
