No need to apologize! I'm from Iowa and wife and I are trying to figure out the same thing. Except our winters are a bit colder than yours...be nice to have a place to fire up smokers in winter, besides the heated garage but it sure does smell good in there for a couple days

I just built one. Nothing special but does the trick

My shed came with the house. I just added hardware.
I'm in SC and I love to be able to still smoke jerky and strami when it's cold and rainy..

DRKsmoking DRKsmoking has a smoker shed I believe
Thanks Jake for the mention

Yes I built the " Smokers Shed " , just for that reason . To help me with the bad weather that we seem to get around here.
Helps keep me and my smoker out of the weather, wind and direct sun if need to be.
And if I can shovel a path to it in a snow storm I will still smoke a couple things

I have it wired for lights , radio. Plugged into the side of my shop . So I have a small fridge in there , for things cool.. ( pop for the mix if needed )
Have my Inkbird set up so I can work in the yard and keep an ear on things or just peek in when I happen to stroll by.
Keep all my wood chips and chunks in air tight containers , marked saying what flavor. Thanks for looking

David
