Hi, All.. Assembling an MES 30” bluetooth, and am wondering where I can put it on my deck (i know.. stupid question ha ha). I’ve already got an old gas grill out there, no issues. Anyway smaller, cedar deck, half covered by roofline. I’m not gonna snug it up to the wall (lol), but what kinda clearance do I actually need? Gonna grab some large tile(s) for a platform. Thanks for your patience guys. Was reading the manual and got a little paranoid. Never smoked before. Grill like no other, tho ha ha!! Nice community here. Thx for havin me.

Anywhere you want. I use mine in a unheated garden shed for protection from snow and wind.
Thx much, Murray. Like I said, the manual got me paranoid, but I knew it was overkill. Looking fwd to diving into it asap (like t’mrrw lol)!!

That being said there is always a chance of fire, common sense should prevail. I purchased a TP-8 to monitor high/low temperatures just in case you get a run away.

This has bluetooth, so you can monitor and adjust the temps. Picking up another wireless thermometer, just in case. Got a nice spot on the deck, just off the kitchen doorwall. Plenty of breathin room.
