Hope yall are having a good labor day weekend. I'm looking online for some smoker gadgets ... boy oh boy ain't there a lot! My problem is, I like shiny things that look nice but end up being a pain in the ass in the end... like my wife. So my question for you folks is what's a must have, can't live without gadget yall got?

In for the comments. See what I need to add to my collection.

I used to think a Pigtail Flipper was a gimmick, until 1 minute after I opened the package. The original company had left hand versions, but a few years ago Jaccard bought them and I don't know if they offer that or not.

probably my BBQ Guru partyQ. WSM's are easy but i really really appreciate not having to actually babysit my bbq.

Gonna second the pig tail flipper . I also use a small garden trowel with a 3 foot section of thin wall conduit for a handle . Homemade , but I reach for it all the time to move coals around , scrape grill grates , spin or remove grates . Don't always have to be high dollor or trendy .

The pigtail guy has a very soothing voice. Mr Rogers for BBQ guys.
