My wife and I just bought a new Toy Hauler and we have been getting stuff bought for it!!  She surprisingly she wants to get a smoker to keep in the camper and I am completely happy with that!!!  Now I need advise on which electric smoker I should get.  I plan on buying Todd's new tube smoker to go with it!  So what do you fellow smokers suggest I get??

Here is a pic of our new Toy!

I like you're mini JckDanls but unfortunately some of the places we are going to be camping like the Sturgis Bike Rally usually have burn bans and that includes charcoal so I will have to stick with electric!  I wouldn't mind building a little smoker like that for the lake cabin tho!

nekramp, morning....  Little or Big chief have always been good smoking tools...  One drawback is, they don't go to high temps for finishing cooking... like pork butt or brisket... (insulating blanket could help).....  the meat would need to be removed, after a good smoke, and finished in the oven.....  That ain't all bad, the Hauler would smell like smoke for a bit....  If you could live with that, you got it made.....

Since it looks like you will have some room in the bed of your truck, the Bradley is a great smoker.  It is truly almost set it and forget it.

From the research I have done, If I was going to buy an electric (which I was going to do until I re-assessed my needs) I would buy a Smokin-it smoker. For travel the #1 would probably be perfect I guess, I was looking at the #3. I since decided that I can build what I want. I love my Mini-WSM and fortunately where I go camping there's no worry about burn bans!
