A few weeks ago I was in a flood and Holy Smoker was half way under water. I washed it best I could after to try to get any residue mud and water out. I jacked it up to let it drain ect….. I am currently burning it out trying to get it as hot as I can and hold for atleast 1hr. My question is do you guys think this is sufficient to cook food on it now???? The first pick was the next day the water was maybe another foot higher when it finally crested.

I want to do a brisket this Sunday so I certainly hope it will be good to go after this.

I would have no issues with it. I believe you are safe.

Did you have the burn out fire going in the cooking chamber as well as the fire box? It might be a good idea as well.
