This is one of my favorite places to eat in KC when I come back to visit.
Christmas Eve dinner was delicious.
Not pictured was a batch of fried mushrooms with ranch dressing which were delicious.
I ordered the double meat combo platter. The ribs and sauce were tasty. The brisket was oh so tender and delicious. The beans are always perfect. The cole slaw is the best I've ever had and I'm usually not a cole slaw fan but theirs takes the prize. I have never had any that ever tasted better than this place.
Our service was excellent and prompt, and as always the restaurant was very clean, exceptionally so.
The crispy sandwiches (not pictured) are phenomenal. It's a shaved brisket sandwich on a sesame hoagie bun. Ohhhhhh drool. It's so light and fluffy and rich. It's a must try.
And other thing...poor Patrick Mahomes. They've already turned on him here in KC. They've relegated his greatness to that of a pig. This was out in front of the restaurant. Go Broncos!
