Despite then serving 10000 lbs of ox roast pulled beef near me as @zwiller posted I decided to keep mine located, as in my driveway lol. Here's the Smokefire settled in at 250F and ready for food. I am still astounded on the amount of good blue smoke it puts out. That's true all the way to 300F I haven't went higher yet. Here's the chuck and beans a couple hours in. Chuck is rubbed with a blend of a local guys charcoal based rub and a Fire & Smoke general purpose savory. Below the chuck I have a pan of 4 cups beef better than bullion , a large sliced Vidalia and a large can of shrooms.

I smoked at 250 for 4 hours and bumped to 275. They went in the pan with the broth at 160ish and covered tightly. Checked them at 205F and they were super tight still. Let them ride to 212F , cranked the heat down to 200F and let them ride an hour. After that an hour rest in the Cambro. They were stubborn but I won lol. Here are some finish pics. The broth , onions and shrooms are amazing too. I'll be having sandwiches of keto bread, beef, onions, shrooms and smoked habanero Cheddar along with a side of beans.

Nice work bud .

Yup . That's why I have to say something everytime someones says " can't get smoke from a pellet grill "
It's above the normal though .
You gotta try smoke boost .

Man, you killed it! NICE JOB. Have not run a chuck on it yet but have run a few in the MES and tasty and I know I am in minority but chucks have a pot roast taste to me no matter what and not into that. I HAVE to try using the grinder AFTER cooking now after trying that Shiloh FD stuff. That's pretty exactly the texture is what I want. I know people want brisket flat slices or pulled but not me. I want that. YES I am looking at them and can afford them but don't think I run enough product to use them.

Like you I was reluctant to run it higher but I eventually ran out of propane and did and it does indeed do a decent job of actual grilling. I am BRUTALLY honest and think the Smokefire is a hidden jem or something of a pellet grill. LOVE mine and dismiss anyone who says a pellet grill can't compete. Sounds like you might agree.

Dang bro! That's awesome!
Thanks! It hit the spot for sure

I'll have to try it. I'm just blown away by the smoke output during normal operation. I've run up to 300 and still get plenty of clean smoke. Most pellet grills I've seen it used out out less , especially at higher temps like 300.

Looks amazing! Thanks for sharing! I just had a big supper and thought I was full, but now I’m not so sure!
Ha , there's still some left if your hungry

I'm a convert to this pellet grill for sure. I love the meat off my Lang and 270 as well but the results and simplicity of using the Smokefire has it being my go to since I got it.

Looks like some darn good eatin 👍
Thanks!

All looks phenomenal my friend, but that pic of the pulled chuck… just amazingly gorgeous!
