Smokedaddy Charcoal Pellets

I use the AMNPS in a MES. I first started with the AMNPS in my webber grill, but finally upgraded to an MES I found on Craigslist (older analog model, drilled a few holes for air by the AMNPS - in lieu of the taking out the wood filler chute, since it does not have one).

AMZN has a sale on the 20# bag of pellets, so I bought some. Then I came across Smokedaddy, and their charcoal pellets. I am thinking of buying a 20# bag and mixing it in with the AMZN pellets.

Any thoughts on mixing in the charcoal pellets?

Shouldn't be a problem mixing at all. In fact, on the Smoke Daddy site, they recommend 2/3 wood pellets and 1/3 charcoal pellets. they say it will work with any pellet brand.
