My first attempt at some turkey legs. They were very good and easy to do at a low cost. Can't wait to do for a large group.
Good question. I have no idea though. I have been looking for the larger legs and ordered some through a guy I know, but they haven't come in yet. These were bought at Walmart (sort of practice for the 4th).Wow those look great.Question, are they smaller legs from a younger bird?
I use a charbroiler that I have added a fire box to a few year ago...seems to work well. I used the minion method with charcoal and apple wood (always apple). I brinded in apple juice, water, salt, sugar for about 3 hours (usually I do over night but this was a spur of the moment decision). Temp 225-235. about 2 hours. Rubbed 3 with cajun, 2 with salt & pepper. 2 with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder. Gave some to my nephew who is freak for Disney's, he liked them better. I've never had them before.can you let us know the wood you used, temp and smoker type those look great
