I threw a couple of Iowa Chops on the smoker last weekend. We were trying to decide what to have with them. My Wife found a box of Stove Top in the cupboard. We never fix stove top stuffing because it doesn't hold a candle to her home made stuffing. But we thought we would fix it anyway just to get it out of the cupboard. I decided to cook it on the smoker with the chops. Didn't have a clue how it would turn out. What a surprise. We both really liked it. It had a great smoked flavor. Now we will try her home made stuffing on the smoker.
Experimentation is the mother of invention................OK maybe a lot of you have done this before but I hadn't and it was kind of fun anticipating how it would turn out.

It seems that almost everything is better smoked. I smoke creamed corn, hominey, all of the Betty Crocker type spuds, chex mix, etc. I even smoke the au jus mix.
