Just got done smoking my first round of bacon in my new smoker, and I thought I'd share:

Two 1/2 lb salmon filets lightly glazed with local organic honey on soaked cedar planks:

2 lbs thick cut bacon lightly basted with molasses with a thin layer of brown sugar:

Smoke at 225 for 4-5 hours:

All done!

Salmon was a little overdone, but not too bad.  It was still tender and juicy.  I really enjoyed it.

NOT PICTURED: black beans slow cooked in the crock pot with a ham hock.

Will be smokin' some ribs tomorrow!

Wow, looks great, wonderful smoke you got onto them!  Delicious!

Nice job! I have been thinking of smoked salmon for a long time but never done it yet, normally throw on gas grill.
