Looks damn delicious John! Eye round is usually $2.50/lb here, sometimes more, sometimes less.

I buy a few in the fall since I like to make a lot of jerky. I need to set a piece aside for roast beef...love the french dip w/ au jus!

Thanks Joe! I wish I would have gotten a pic of the French dip I had made. Out of this world good with the smoked Au Jus! Next time you get them cheap toss a couple aside and put them in the smoker. You wont be disappointed!

Will definitely smoke it...and smoked au jus is to die for. I drank half of it before serving, lol!

Thanks Momo. Give it a shot! I like to pull mine at 125-130 so I get that nice red color but others pull their at different temps. Key is to slice it as thin as you can!
