Placed a bed of dill, rosemary and basil on the grate then the birds on top of the nest!!
Will check in 1 hour
Did you taste much of the herbs in the final result?
 
I love smoking bird. And I love enchiladas. Like like like!
Question. That’s fresh basil that you have those birds sitting on as you smoke them? Does it help? Are you also placing herbs in the cavity?
