Smoked a 1/2 Turkey Breast on Saturday.
It was a small one only 2+lbs.


Rubbed with EVOO, SPOG and a little paprika.


Ran the smoker around 325


Both my probes died so I used an oven thermometer and a digital probe.
(worked just fine)
Cook time was around 1.5 hrs


Final product.



Flavor was good but I think the rub was a little heavy.
Next time just EVOO, S&P.

Looks fine from here.  Turkey to me is one that only needs a touch of seasoning when smoking.  Most of the time, if I brine (or cure) turkeys or parts, I don't season them.
