Going to try something a bit different today. We love ham so this should be a winner in our home. We'll live off of ham for the next 2 days watching college and pro football. Ok that sounds almost made up, i have some arrands and projects to squeeze in there as well. :)

I'm going to smoke this at 220 until about 140 IT. Pretty sure those numbers should suffice.

Here's the ham before heading into the smoker. Nothing fancy, simple Kroger brand precooked and weighed 8 lbs.



Just starting the cooking process. Mostly apple with a bit a hickory as well.


Here it is after about an hour. Moved the probe and got a 10 degree reading difference:


Here it is nearly finished:

Over all it was very good. Lost a lot of smoke flavor the deeper into the meat you went but the added flavor was nice.
