Has anyone made Smoke Salt? to be used later in other receipts? Would like to make some, how long before the salt takes on the smoke flavor.
 
graywolf yes you can smoke it to enhance any dish. I have sea salt smoked , working on doing some ice cream salt being it is nice and coarse. I plan on cold smokin it for a few hours to get some color.
 
Still have lots of smoked salt from my previous batch.  Fantastic flavor.
