Just got an electric smoke hollow D4015 at flea market new in box. The probe display will not move from "OFF". Any suggestions. I can live without it but it would be nice to have.

Buy a stand alone multi-probe thermometer instead, make it easy on yourself instead of attempting to chase an electrical issue and potentially more accurate.
