Hi. New guy here. I think this is the first question I've ever asked on here?
My kids got me the 4-in1 for Father's Day. I just put it together a few weeks ago. I still,haven't smoked anything yet, but I have used the searer and the gas grill. But my question is this. One of the mods that I read about was to paint grill with high temp paint. Should I paint the smoker box and the cooking box, before I use the grill or should I wait until after I have used it and the surface rust appears? I've already done the JB weld and the high temp RTV mod. I'm still looking for the expanded metal to make the charcoal rack thing. Thanks in advance.
