Don't want to open the door of my smoker ( picts to follow ) to add wood chips.  Going to be a gasser.  Want to build a smoke generator.  Fridge will have 2x ( 1 each side ) 2" or 3" adjustable ( damper ) air intakes at the bottom and a 6" stack also adjustable (damper ).    Considering building a smoke generator.  So here is my question;  Do I need an air pump from the generator to the fridge?  Seems to me that the draft in the smoker would  pull the smoke into the chamber.  Little dog here askin for advice

I bought the smoke daddy magnum pig so I will use the supplied air pump.  you can make an external "mailbox mod" with an amnps.  I believe it works via the heat rises theroy  search for mailbox mod and enjoy.  or do what I did and fork out the cash for a smoke daddy :)

Thanks for the advice.  I have done a lot of research and the mailbox with the AMNPS is the way I think I'll go.  I have a couple of ideas for my build that I will be trying.  Most are probably unnecessary but if I build it in the beginning and don't use it I will not have to start cutting holes after my finished paint job.  Thanks again.  Keep Smokin!
