DO NOT put pellets in the burn tray where chips are placed. USE a smoker tray specifically designed for pellets. Light that tray and ensure it remains lit for 10 minutes then locate that tray in your MES at the bottom. Would suggest you pull out the loader tube part way which will allow more airflow to keep the pellets going.
