Good evening Mighty

Your plans are a good start.    I have  something similar only separate.

For the smoker,  I tried to do a how to on the forum.  It has a lot of basic ideas as to working with brick and layout.   If interested here is the link.  Its a long thread, but I did add things I would change about it as I learned to use it.

For the oven you just have to find a plan you like.   I went with the barrel style.  I made it 8in. wider then the plan and was glad I did.

Research is key.   If you have a working knowledge of masonry, it will be a breeze.

Can't wait to see you get started.   As always, if you have questions,  just ask.   We have a good group of folks on this page with a lot of awesome ideas!

Thank you Wes!  Your build thread was the first one I read on this site and it's what inspired me to believe I could actually pull it off!  I've never worked a brick in my life but I've got some working brain cells and a nice collection of youtube videos covering the basics; and I'm willing to practice.  :)

Here's a helpful link to a scaling calculator that can help people draw up their plans.  If, like me, they weren't paying attention in 2nd grade math class.  LOL
