My mother did, and then baked them, adding watered down Open Pit barbecue sauce.

Her Sloppy Joes were also made with watered down Open Pit.

Now just the the smell of that sauce will get me to toss my lunch
 
If you think that sucks, my Mom used to boil ribs with saurkraut. I like ribs and I like saurkraut, but that is a crazy combo :roll: !
 
Dear god. Worst food esperience I used to have was when my grandmother made pens & ink (pasta and tomato sauce), and she used to burn it..........not not too bad, but then she used to name is belly rot. Fun stuff.

Ribs and saurkraut! Now that is some winter time food, add in some boiled spuds and onions and emm emmm!
