I was looking to see if any of you know anything about burning in a signals box if it is bad? I was talking to a guy that I get my wood from it was telling me that he was hearing that it can put off poison gases off from the paint
Like a railroad signal box, or an intersection stop light signal box? Either way any paint on the interior could lead to giving off toxic fumes. It would be best to burn it off with a torch, (which could also be toxic) or have the it sand blasted. The exterior of the box more than likely isn't high temp paint and I would remove it too and then re-paint with High-temp (exterior only). Season the interior by smoking!
