My Grandma would go to the A&G cafeteria and buy their remoulade sauce every year for Christmas!  I never understood it, it was like we were undercover at the back door before they opened.

I love it.....LOL. There is a lot more of that type stuff going on than folks would believe. Piccadilly! Squash casserole! Shoney's Strawberry Pie! etc.... To me that is the sincerest form of flattery.  Its no different than the little old ladies huddling whispering trying to figure someones secret ingredient, which will never be told...LOL

Remoulade sauce is soooo varied, its like BBQ sauce. Some make it catsup based, mayo based, mustard based. I think the secret ingredient that makes it remoulade is the raw eggs, and that's not even a guaranteed ingredient. One of the best I ever had was made in a small cowboy town, with one blinking street light in New Mexico. The place was known area wide for its outstanding chicken fried steaks and steak fingers. Turned out the owner was a featured bourbon st. cabaret singer before she retired.  You just never know.

BTW I am pretty partial to mine too. Try it and see what you think.

Holy crap Kevin!  I didn't realize she was passing it off as her own!  That's why the secrecy, covert operations.  That is funny!  Have you posted your recipe?  I don't want to deal with Brian!
