 I have had an issue with my 4 year old Gen1 MES 40. The unit was tripping the GFI 30 seconds after start up. The wiring seemed fine so I called MBCS to see which direction to go next. The woman I talked to said, " the next likely culprit is the Coil." I asked what the cost of a replacement would be and was promptly told, " No Charge...I will get a replacement out to you today. " I was completely blown away! There was no reason to replace the 4 year old coil free, long past warranty, but the woman was happy to do so. I thanked the woman and told her I was a Mod at SMF and would make sure you all were told of the outstanding service I received. GREAT JOB Masterbuilt!!!

If any of you have a similarly great experience or even a bad one, stuff happens, feel free to add to this thread. If you had a bad experience include details on how you and MB worked to resolve the situation, be nice. Take care all...JJ
