One of the forum members mentioned this Vac to change out pellets.  You attach it to a 5 gal. clean paint bucket and suck out the pellets from your hopper. It works great. $21.00 at home depot(not incl. bucket).

I've seen others mention those too...looks like a handy accessory if your gonna change pellet flavors regularly for different cooks.  I've noticed some of the higher end pellet smokers (like MAK and Fast Eddy PG) have a pellet dump feature now to empty the hopper in seconds.  That would be a nice feature that all pellet pits should have.
