I FINALLY got a MES 30 that arived safe and sound. Got it assembled and I'm going to season it now.
I see the manual says just set it to 275 for 3 hours and load it with a cup of chips for the last 45 minutes. I have seen some people mention something about spraing it down with PAM cooking spray. Should I spray it down before I start? I also don't see any mention anywhere of wether the vent should be open or closed?
Also wondering should I put my AMNPS in to season it at the same time?
Any help is appreciated. Very anxious to get to smokin!
