Ok I'm sorry to post yet another thread on wood.

I just received my order of pecan chunks from barbecuewoods.com

Pretty nice sized fairly uniform chunks but to my untrained eye, they look kind of fresh and not seasoned. First time using pecan so maybe the wood just looks lighter then I am used to. I've attached a photo. Their website says their wood is designed for grilling and smoking.
