A buddy of mine called me today and said he found a Smokey Joe Silver and a Weber Q 120 that he believed were marked at half price. There was a half-price sign at the display, but he was trying to find store personnel to confirm. I haven't heard back from him, but I hope I have both on the way to me.

Hey now, that's a great deal! Keep us posted!!

I stopped by Home Depot yesterday and bought a few propane bottles for the Q120. I decided to cook my lunch on it today as its maiden voyage.

I turned the grill on to preheat the grates, and put my new non-stick griddle on with some taters and olive oil.

Then I threw on some Carolina pride beef smoked sausage.

I was very pleased with the little grill. As you can see, it makes very nice char marks. I had read that it would do so in many reviews, but the grill really doesn't get all that hot. The grate is very stout.

My initial reaction is that this will be a top notch travel grill and for quick stuff such as burgers, chicken breast, sausages and such. It may take up residence in my truck so that I can cook my lunch on it at work.
