Im going to be getting a meat grinder and sausage stuffer soon and was wondering if there are amy recommendations. Id prefer not to spend more than $100 each.
Also, the meat grinders with stuffer attachments, do they work well enough to not get a seperate sausage stuffer? Or is it better to buy them seperate.

Don't buy a LEM! Click the link in my signature!

Besides that get a dedicated stuffer and not the combo. Plan on spending a bit more than $100 ea, but not much more.

XX, I concur with Dirtsailor that you want a grinder and stuffer. Not sure as to what brand you should buy though.

This is the grinder I got a few months ago after a lot of research. From what I can tell, Sunmile make almost all of the sub $100 grinders and sells them under numerous brands.

I have only used it once for about 15lbs of venison and it worked great.

I have not tried the stuffer attachments but since there is no speed control I would think that they are going to be hard to use.

Hey dirtsailor im just curious why you say not to buy a Lem I have a lem #5 and its great my buddy and I have made a lot of burger and summer sausage with mine and haven't had any problems just asking

Horrible customer service. Read the thread that is in my signature line. "Is my LEM a Lemon"

I was sold a defective stuffer that should have been replaced. Instead I got a run around from their warranty department. Finally got replacement parts but still had to make the repair myself.

Ok I was just curious like I said I have used mine a lot in the past 2 years. I guess its about like anything else your taking a chance on getting a bad one now I do feel lucky because when I buy stuff like that I worry about how long it will last I paid $219.00 bucks for it at bass pro I caught it one sale around xmass time

I concur with the others that you will be much happier with a grinder and a stand alone stuffer. Northern tool I think has sub 100 units for both jobs. Check them out. I have a Weston stuffer and it has been fine for me. I use my kitchen aid stand mixer with the meat grinder attatchment for grinding and it works pretty ok for that but I would not recommend trying to stuff with it. One of these days I am going to get me a true grinder.

Thanks for all your input. I kinda figured it would be better to get them seperately. and i checked out northern tool before and i prolly will go with their product, tgey have alot of good reviews

If you aren't adverse to a little work, a decent hand crank grinder can do 20-25 lbs of sausage pretty quick, could save you some $. I use mine for everything.
