I cure 4-6 country hams a year using the salt box method. What is a good use for the leftover salt that has come into contact with the pork ? Can it be cleaned and reused somehow? Or am I better off sprinkling it on my driveway in the winter?

If you deer hunt, pour it on a stump in the woods to make a salt lick. Deer will dig the stump out of the ground...
