Royal Oak Prices

I was at the dollar store yesterday and saw Royal Oak primium briquets. It's the first place in town I've seen RO.
Is $4 for 9 lbs a good price? I think the grocery store is selling Kingford 18 lbs for 8.50.
I'm not a charcoal guy yet, is the RO better and is that a good price?

I'm not sure what brickette prices are. I've only ever seen lump here. If I remember right I paid about $6.50 a bag for it.

Kmart here (FL) sells 18 lb bags for 5.99

Forgot to mention.... Kmart sells 18 lbs of Kingsford for 7.99 Sams club sells 42 pounds of Kingsford for $15.00 42 lbs at Home Depot is $16.00

Personally, I think Kingsford burns hotter and longer, so the lower cost of RO is washed out. But RO is milder, and IMHO slightly better than Kingsford.
