Bought 3 slabs of baby back ribs last week ( the spares were at sell date ) to do some rib practice . I saw some threads on the Emerald 360 air fryer , and thought I would do a half slab on the roto . I've had mine a couple of weeks .
I could have sandwiched a whole slab cut in half on there , but just did the meaty half . Seasoned with steak seasoning , and pre-heated at 350 .
The actual drip pan goes under the lower heating elements . The baking pan can be used as a drip tray , but it would not fit with the ribs , and I wanted to use the direct heat source on the bottom and the top . I spun the ribs at 350 for 20 minutes , then turned the heat down to 250 . Was getting alot of smoke at the higher temp , and some at the lower temp . I had to reset the timer , because it only goes to 1 hour . Ran the ribs around 4 hours at 250 , after the 20 minutes at higher temp .
These came out fantastic . Tender and moist roast pork . Not fall off the bone , came off clean , which is what I like .

Not the same as ribs off the smoker . The out side had a cracklin
like texture . Really good , I'll do these again , but a whole slab next time .

Did the rest on the 26 " kettle .

Those ribs look great Chop! I have to say I prefer the look of the ribs from the Weber, rich, deep color. Like, RAY

Chop,
Thanks for posting your pics. I had been cogitating about trying the very same thing in my air fryer.

Try it out and let us know . The outside of the spun ribs were crispy . Fat was almost like cracklins .
Thanks for the comments .

Looks great! I bet that crispy outside was delicious! This is one more thing thats getting me closer to purchasing an air fryer!
