Hey guy I got my start using a Old Smokey Electric Smoker, but its to small
too inconsistent, and I think I watched enough youtube and got the franklin BUG>
So Just got a 500 gallon tank. and really have a bunch of questions about
Should I go with reverse flow with water pan? or no reverse. Pros and cons.
What Size stack and how to figure out stack size and door size.
Any input is appreciated

Welcome to the forum. I personally like the offset I built a few years ago but others like reverse flow. Lots of good info here for building. I look forward to seeing your progress on your build.
 
Doors partial cut. still wondering if they need to be bigger.
Fire box hole cut to. just to ventilate tank.
Man does it smell like propane!!!!
How do u guys get rid of smell or tips on cleaning tank?

Try burning a fire inside the tank. Use some old pallets or something that will get really hot. Stay away from treated lumber.
