too inconsistent, and I think I watched enough youtube and got the franklin BUG>
So Just got a 500 gallon tank. and really have a bunch of questions about
Should I go with reverse flow with water pan? or no reverse. Pros and cons.
What Size stack and how to figure out stack size and door size.

Welcome to the forum. I personally like the offset I built a few years ago but others like reverse flow. Lots of good info here for building. I look forward to seeing your progress on your build.

Try burning a fire inside the tank. Use some old pallets or something that will get really hot. Stay away from treated lumber.
