I have enjoyed the taste of well prepared smoked chicken, ribs and brisket, however always had to rely on others to prepare these delicacies and invite my family and I over to enjoy with them. My wife gave me a smoker for my birthday last week and now it's time to learn!

We have an electric Masterbuilt 40" sportsman smoker, I ran the set up process yesterday and now I'm ready to get things going. Living in Colorado with my 2 young daughters and wife,  I love to hunt big game and look forward to learning how to smoke a good elk roast!

Any suggestions are welcome as I plan to smoke up 6 chicken breasts and a 2 pound brisket today for starters!

Thank you!
