You mentioned Montgomery Inn sauce. The Montgomery inn is a restaurant in Cincinnati. It used to be tremendous and they are famous for ribs. I heard that in recent years they are not as good and have raised prices but I would go again if I was in the area.
Ive never been there, but I like the sauce. There is a story on the bottle about them. I cant find the sauce up here in Chicagoland anymore, so I always buy it when I am home in Southern Illinois. Its like $2 a bottle.
My trips home are full of sauce buying! Sauce from Mike Mills 17th St BBQ, sauce from Pat Burkes place, and a couple of bottles of sauce from a place in Paducah,KY called Starnes . All good stuff.
