Ribeye sandwiches

Dang steve thats a fine looking sammy! I love the mushrooms with mine too. Ive done the toast thing a few times when I cant find the right roll for what I'm doing. And sometimes things just sound really good on some toasted white bread.

Thanks. Just last week they had these nice kummelweck rolls. You haven't lived until you had a beef on a weck.

Tonight I made some sandwiches. Ribeyes that is.

Got some shaved ribeye.
And sauted a mess of mushrooms and onions.

Then piled on some provolone and built them.

And with this pasta salad. I'm stuffed. The sandwiches were fantastic. I only ate one. They were very filling.

Looks Great! How did you shave it with a knife or do you have a slicer? froze first to cut?

I just did cheese steaks on the griddle with smoked Gouda..that was tasty.

I bought it like that. I have done it before near frozen with my slicer. Smoked Gouda is great. I've done grilled ham and cheese with it. I bet with steaks it was very tasty.

Doing a bit of catching up here. Those sandwiches look amazing Steve!! No wonder you only ate one of them. Looks like it weighed about 2 pounds, then add the pasta salad. That's a meal fit for a VERY large king
