My local Hannaford's had a special on bone-in Ribeye for $6.99lb, so bought enough to fill the freezer for the winter :emoji_sunglasses:.

Wanted to test one out on the new 1050. Had purchased the super sear manifold from LSS.

Put the manifold cover on and smoked with Mesquite for about an hour at 150 degees, to give it some flavor. The Ribeye internal reched 95 degees, then pulled the steak out.

Pulled off the manifold cover, cranked it up to 700 degrees, let it stabilize for 10 minutes, then tossed the steak back on and let the magic happen.

Went 3 minutes or so on each side.

Perfect mid-rare. This is a pretty versatile unit.
