Have the Camp Chef Woodwind Wifi 24 and it looks like I'm going to have to replace it, unfortunately. I have another thread going where it seems I'm not the only one with Wifi issues. I will get my money back.

I do love the way the smoker cooks. What drew me to it were some of the features it has and I would appreciate recommendations on other smokers with them.

1. The ability to drain the pellets out to a bucket if I want to switch the wood type
2. The ash bucket on the bottom that I can remove and dump
3. Four temperature probes (although two would probably suffice)
4. Wifi (which is the problem with this unit; it doesn't work)
5. Would love the ability to set alarms when internal temperatures were met and ideally, to have the smoker kick up or down temps when those set internal temps were met. The Camp Chef lets you make a note of the goal internal temp but it's just a reminder note for you. It doesn't alert you when you get there so you have to keep looking.
6. It has the burner on the side which I think I would prefer, so there is no hotspot directly underneath in the middle of the grill.

If you know of another make that has some or all of the above features, please advise. Thx.

I have a CampChef 24 and love it, the temps stay the same as long as I have it running.
Longest cook so far is just under 24 hours on a monster brisket running at 225.
I used to obsess about this temp and that and if my wifi dropped out I would run around like a crazy person getting it going again.
Now I turn on the cooker, set the temp and go back in the house and forget the cooker until it's time to spritz or add water to the drip pan.
In other words leave it alone and let it run, check when needed and forget wifi.
