Happy New Year to all and a the best of wish to those I have become closer too. (not a dig at those I havent).

I could not be happier to close the door on 2025. For us it will be remembered as the worst year on record, without a doubt.

Hoping and praying 2026 has smoother roads for us.

Didnt even make it to 9:30 pm. Didnt have a Jack and Coke. Did a few things on the computer after Ohio State lost and went to bed and slept until 8 this morning. I was tired and needed the rest.

Now it's cleaning, organizing and getting a few small projects around the house done while I have the time. Tomorrow at noon it's time to deal with the basement...

I have elbow surgery coming up in 2 weeks. Dad is coming to stay for a week to help me get through it. So things needs to be done to make it easier on him. Lot's to do.

On top of that, getting the house ready to sell. I am going to look at a piece of land tomorrow in the mountains and meet my realtor and the builder.

Best wishes on your elbow surgery! Looking at land, now that sounds like fun to me! Hope it goes well! Keep me posted. Im curious where you end up.

Celebrated west coast new years in Minnesota. Drove home (no drinking) and the little man (6yo) turned on SpongeBob for a few minutes before bed. Then it sounds like gunshots outside.... nope fireworks. Got up this morning to do a pork shoulder for family new years day.
